§ 17.10.040. Conditional uses.

  • The following uses may be allowed within the RSF district, subject to the requirements, procedures, and conditions established by the conditional use permits chapter of this title:

    A.

    Bed and breakfast inns, guest houses (food and alcohol permitted);

    B.

    Churches and community center buildings;

    C.

    Electrical Substations. Distribution, sewage lift station and other public utility facilities;

    D.

    Fire and police stations;

    E.

    Libraries, museums or art galleries (public);

    F.

    Plant nurseries;

    G.

    Private concessionaires as a temporary accessory use to recreational facility/events not to exceed sixty days duration;

    H.

    Cellular antennas attached to an existing structure, provided the largest dimension of an antenna does not exceed four feet, and the total combined front surface area of the antennas does not exceed eight square feet. When attached to an existing structure that exceeds the height limit, the height of the structure shall not be exceeded; I. Recreation facilities (public) including, but not limited to, a sports field, community centers, golf courses, and conservation areas (NGPA);

    Schools, preschool, elementary, junior and senior high schools (public), and equivalent private schools;

    K.

    Stables, livestock, fowl, other birds and rabbits may be kept by the resident on the premises; provided that there shall be no more than one horse, cow, donkey, sheep, goat or swine; six poultry, birds, rabbits; or three dogs, and cats (not counting suckling young) per each acre of enclosed usable pasture or roaming area (one acre minimum.) This use is only allowed on existing parcels and not on parcels created by subdivision.
