§ 17.12.060. Basic development standards.

  • Development within the medium density residential district shall conform to the following listed and referenced standards. All lot area standards subject to Snohomish health district review until sewer service is available. All off-street parking shall occur in designated areas only.

    R-MD Basic Development Standards

    Lot area:
    Lot area, minimum 6,000 square feet (new lots with sewer service)*
    Lot area per unit (multifamily) twenty unit maximum 6,000 square feet
    Average lot width (minimum twenty feet street frontage width), minimum 50 feet
    Setbacks (minimum)
    Front 15 feet
    Second front 10 feet
    Sides 10 feet
    Height, maximum (mean average) 35 feet
    Landscape

    * Minimum lot area required to allow development of existing lots to be determined by the Snohomish County health district.
